(Edison is powered by every American president and Uncle Sam is powered by the peoples belief in America). The two are massively built heroic spirits who came back after their demise in the past to protect their world and country, They're both also formed out of multiple individuals, Edison being made of the presidents of America and Uncle Sam of a spirit and a patriotic host for the spirit, having had multiple bodies in the past. Both also appear to have reality distorting abilities, Sam being able to mass shift, transport people to other dimensions and see the future, and Edison being able to create a lab out of thin air, produce an army of mechanical soldiers and summon the 20th century fox logo. They are obviously based on pre-existing well-known figures as well (Thomas Edison, The real life American inventor and businessman & Uncle Sam is a popular national personification of the United States).
