Berkshire Hathaway Vice Chairman Charlie Munger has died aged 99

Warren Buffet’s partner at investment giant Berkshire Hathaway, Vice Chairman Charlie Munger, passed away overnight aged 99.

Both Buffett and Munger were raised in Nebraska and turned Berkshire Hathaway from virtually nothing to be worth more than $1 trillion today.

Mr Munger started out working part-time at Warren Buffett’s grandfather’s grocery store, with Buffett, who is seven years younger, later working at the same store.

They met again in the late 1950s with a shared respect for the so-called father of value investing, Benjamin Graham.

Buffett credits Munger for teaching him to change his investment style, away from buying distressed, undervalued companies, to buying quality businesses that were also undervalued.

This led them to become among the biggest investors in Coca Cola, Kraft Heinz, Apple and Bank of America.

Charlie is a very smart investor .
He is often underrated……sitting next to Buffet.
I like his logic and his philosophy.
