Great video! I wanted info on the difference between the 520Pro and the 720Pro. It was a nice brief introduction to both. Just wondering if you have any information on the micro jig that attaches to this?

Great video! You made a great point that I hadn't thought of with the crosscut station and that's the super easy portability to take to an install rather than hauling around the miter saw.

Looking forward to trying the 720 pro! I could see the crosscut station being handy on a jobsite situation where I just have a few cuts to make and don't want to haul the big ass miter saw around for a couple of cuts. Kreg, as usual always fixing problems that I didn't even realize I had! They are living in 2037 and I'm back here in 2021 going ohhhh, good idea kreg! Lol

Picked up the crosscut station and so far, I'm impressed. Easy to assemble and set up, and isn't as bulky as I thought it might be. I wish it had on-board storage for the miter attachment. I can see the two getting separated easily.

I was a tiny bit disappointed by the cross cut sled actually. 12" capacity isn't much larger than my 12" chop saw will do, even though it is more portable. I imagine that most folks will use it to cut smaller trim and such (as shown in the video here) and in such case a 10" saw is pretty portable and they even come in battery versions now! 60$ is a good price though and I bet it ticks the boxes for just enough value at just the right cost. What I really want is a dead simple method of cutting cross cuts around 24" long. It takes me far to long with my accu-cut to ensure the cut is square and accurate, and I find it a bit cumbersome as well.

I think the crosscut station is designed to be used in the other direction? I would imagine it is better to have your saw resting on the guide rails and material at the front of the crosscut station for a more accurate cut. I noticed the tear out after your cut - having the side where the blade exits would prevent that. I haven't used one yet but the Kreg website does show it being used the other direction.

Would have been nice to see the crosscut station cut 45 angles. Everyone is showing the straight cut. If it were a race car, how would it perform? Everyone can go fast in a straight line but how can they handle the turns? None the less I really appreciate the super quick overview of the products! Thanks!

Honestly I am a little disappointed that you can't use the old inserts with the new units so I will not buy a new one until I either sell the other one or just stop using it or break it. The crosscut sled definitely has my curiosity peaked I will probably give that a try. Some of the other Kreg stuff is nice and I like it, some have been eh for me but overall I am a Kreg fan.
