I always use port70.net for c standards. I've got no idea where that's from, but hey, where else can I find a ascii version of the standard?
They sadly only have C++ standards up to C++14.

So which revision in the GitHub repo is the final final one that you would get if you bought it? Or is there no revision with the exact same content (albeit maybe a different formatting) for that?

It's not a standard - when they keep changing the language. Nothing is standardized.... only per version... which means very little. // The basic premise.. is that a successful established language should not be messed with... If they find gaping holes now, after 15-20 years have passed, what does that tell us? IMO: It doesn't show how smart they are... rather, the opposite.
