Thank you Travis, my goal for this year 2024 is to get a full time remote Golang developer job with a company in EU/US earning over $3, 000 per month.

Very wise advice here! I am turning 43 next year, and it will be the year of coding all day every day. Trying to land that first job and working on exciting side projects. I look forward to it, and I also look forward to the years that follow when I take back my hobbies 😂 (I’m not leaving them completely, just, lesser priority). Let’s go! 🤘🏼💪🏼👩🏻‍💻

it's so easy to get caught up in this trap I need to learn everything as soon as possible. It might look a right attitude to have but it is actually of no use in the long run. thanks for reminding us to prioritize out health!

What I liked about your principles Travis is that they are very logical and relatable and at the same time easy-to-implement. The only prerequisites are consistency and integrity, but as always, it is easier said than done. Thanks for the valuable insights that you share

Age 43 here... planning to leave my job in education and start learning new skills. Mortgage is almost paid off, so if not now, when? Teaching jobs will always exist and will always pay poorly, so there will always be a safe space for me there. Hope I never go back !

I find this kind of videos extremely useful, it helps me to stop for while and think deeply about my goals, for the next year I 'm plaining to become a DevOps engineer. I've done some interviews already !

This is very timely. I always feel like if I don't do anything related to code, I'll forget everything.

2024: Find and enjoy working a Devops role.

By consistently working on that one thing, I hope a time like this next year, we shall come back and say we are on track.

Thanks a million for the great advice. 2023 was a crazy year for me, I had hoped I would have more time to put the grind in and hopefully get a job but family and young kids demand so much of my time. I'm thankful for my family though and I must say I learned a lot even though I didn't land the job yet. I'm positive going into 2024 and I hope and pray for great things to come but I'll just take it one day at a time.
