When you use rode wireless mic for go pro hero 7 black do you need to buy or to connect adapter?

Crystal clear audio. I can hear the crunch of the toast as it’s being eaten. It does pick up a lot of extraneous background sound however it’s not too bad. I already have an older Rode wireless Mic system but this new version sounds great. So... here we go again, chasing Technology. My unit isn’t that old and now a newer, better version comes out. What to do? Suggestions?
