HOT TAKE: Razer Mic Drop?

So Razer just dropped a 2023 refresh to the already-solid Blackshark v2 Pro gaming headset and the list of additions is pretty crazy but they ALSO just dropped one of the best wireless gaming mics out there. Full review out soon.

The mic sounds good but the attack and release on the noise cancelation sounds like it cuts the first 1/8 second and last 1/8 second off of each of your phrases.
Probably fixable in firmware, if it’s not already a toggle in software. But something I noticed.

Yeah but for 300 ish dollars you could just get a good studio quality mic with some studio headphones that will outperform it so bad

the physical size of the driver 50mm although quite large isint necessary in the reproduction of low frequencies (808s) to get a really bassy headset as you probably want it you either want a closed back over ear headset with decent sound dampening (this is what noise cancelling headphones try to do but inherently fail because of their phase cancellation of unwanted noise changing the original song you want to hear)

That mic dosent sound that great, sounds nasal and the noise cancelagion cutoff gets really distracting.

The on-board EQ memory is great tho, having a semi-permanent fix to the Razer signature sound is always a gopd thing
