The Quick Jack system is fantastic, works great. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a low rise lift that doesn't take up much space. This is a short video on how I connect lines to the pump when they don't want to. This is the only issue I have run into and it could be something I'm doing wrong.

Yes! From their manual, I did the down button, then tried connecting, with no help. Connecting while pressing the down button worked like a charm. Glad to know I could have popped the o-ring, so thanks for that heads up.

I haven’t use my lift in a while and couldn’t understand why it wasn’t hooking up until I found your video. Thanks a lot.

You are a lifesaver, my friend. For the life of me I don't know why QuickJack doesn't tell you this simple method.

Dude I followed all their rules on depressurization and this is the only thing that works! Thanks!

Thanks for this video. It was exactly what solved my problem. I've used my QuickJack plenty of times, but this time the hoses just wouldn't connect. I guess this can happen if the hoses have very high pressure when they're disconnected and put away.

You are a genius, I don’t use the quick jam as much as I would like to because of the difficulty connecting the hose to the pump. I tried your suggestion and both slipped right on. Thanks for posting this and showing, absolutely wonderful.😊

Amazing that I found this video! I tried to hold the button for 20 seconds before I push the connectors in and didn't work. Did this with my wife pushing the button in and it popped right in place.

Oh wow... can't thank you enough. I have a lot of work to do on the car this weekend and just struggled for 30 minutes trying a few ways to get the hoses on and glad I didn't blow and O-ring in the pump.... only in my head I was so frustrated. :-) Anyway, I had tried holding the down button for a while prior to watching the video thinking that may relieve pressure, and also pressing in the relief valve manually. Your method worked instantly, and ready to get out there. Thanks again so much!

THANK YOU!!! I thought I depressurized the lines the last time I used my QJ but couldn’t connect them this evening. Your video worked immediately and my car is now up in the air. Thanks again!!

You are a life saver and thank you for sharing. More than a year later from my last use, I could not connect the hose to the compressor as shown. Plugged the compressor power cord in, and held down the DN button, and the hoses connected with ease.

This was perfect! They wouldn't move, and after holding down button they slipped right on. Thanks

Dude this is pure gold!!! I always use the down button for 10 seconds when I’m done to relief pressure in the line. but still couldn’t reconnect, think I left the relief cap tightened down in the tank last time = too much pressure. Holding down button while attaching hoses worked like a charm. Thank you!!!!
