I've been wanting to discuss fashion and modelling for a while, but there's so much to talk about that I wasn't sure where to begin.

It's a bit nerve wracking to think of the possible consequences posting this could have so I'm only really touching the surface of everything I could say hahaha..... Maybe I should have just talked about how messed up our feet are??

Also low key hope industry people don't see this, but at the same time I hope they do??

okay second comment, there are tons of things I didn't know about the industry prior to this video. and I entertained the thought of being a model too, especially when I was 14 and 15 (am now 18), and I couldn't imagine myself fending off from icky people so young. such a good video!! do you think that especially because of social media young girls see the modelling world even more glamorous now? I know a lot of young girls have pages with a couple thousand followers with the intent of showcasing fashion, kind of like modelling

I really appreciate your candor and the clarity of your experiences! I think a lot of "how to start modeling" advice and resources really try to keep a veil of mysticism and allure that is ultimately harmful, especially when very young models join without knowing how difficult and upsetting the industry can be. I think a lot of people are vaguely aware that modeling is a difficult or unfair career with a lot of sleazy types, but I truly didn't know the depth of it until now. I am definitely going to read some of your articles! I hope, whatever you decide to do next (should you retire modeling), you enjoy it fully and have more bodily autonomy and equity!

I've always been irked and disgusted at fashion and modelling industry all my life. I always thought to myself "I'm not that part of society" - and I might not be.
