Unbelievable. I am a longtime Factorio player who has Nilaus to thank for all of my Factorio builds over the last so many years. I started playing Satisfactory for the first time at 1.0 release and have been mostly watching other players and trying to do my own thing. I suspected that Nilaus as THE Factorio Guy would have an interesting spin on Satisfactory - I cannot tell you how delighted I am to click on this video and see Nilaus BUILDING A MAINBUS in Satisfactory...Beautiful, it really puts a smile on my face and it's giving me ideas for future builds in Satisfactory. Keep doing your think Nilaus you are the People's Champ!!

FYI, if you remove the front legs of your branch add-ons you can remove the Z-fighting and get a visual indicator of which way is forward. Effectively each stage would be leaning on the next until they reach the depot.

I appreciate how each of your playthroughs has a novel way of approaching problems and solutions. This series is not a simple retread of the series you've already done before.

You can set the blueprints to build in "blueprint" mode instead of default. That way when placing a new one next to an existing one, it locks immediately into position

First of all: thank you for the video. I like the way you do things, and the way you explain. Very helpful.

I'd like to add a note: not sure if I missed something, or if it really was not shown, but I had to make some adjustments to achieve the 200 rubber + 200 plastic. First, the plastic factory seems to the connected to a pure node, but that needs one shard. Second, the rubber factory seems to the connected to a normal node, which requires 3 shards. If you don't do that, there's an imbalance in the heavy oil production, which is not a problem to generate the 2, 500 MW energy, but doesn't achieve the maximum rubber + plastic. I hope this helps someone else who watches the video.

You could also add the Arrow signs to the foundations to indicate the output direction

I love you trying to play the game different than others! Never thought to make a bus until you did

I'm enjoying your sort of stripped-down approach with the flying mode. Dealing with flora and fauna and working around the map is definitely a big part of what makes this game what it is, but if you wanna do a series dedicated to the factory part of this game, flying mode makes everything much, much better. Even if you just wanted to use flying mode to sort out build strategies and stuff before implementing things in the regular game, it has its uses, and I think it was the right choice for this particular Let's Play.

Imagine hating someone for the way he have fun in a singleplayer. Love your modular and bus ideas and I have a bit of envy to try something like that now that I am doing a lot of separated factories :P Thanks for the video!

Dimensional storage made the game so much better for me. Im build in 24 hours of save what I built on previous 150 hours save

Looking forward to seeing you solve trains. I always hate laying train lines to bring materials from across the map.

Suggestion for making it obvious which end of the blueprint is the front, for the modules that get added to the one with the sink... take off the three supports on that end.

If you change the build mode while placing blueprints it switches to blueprint mode and lets you snap them together way easier. Since i dont use any alternative way to get a view beside the lookout tower (jetpack doesnt last long enough for my liking) it works out well. There might be the odd time I have to nudge the blueprint but it does a pretty good job.

Keep on keepin on man. I'm enjoying having those designs to crib from helps me get a better idea for bus stratagey.

The other pure oil node is directly south southwest of the northernmost normal node. Look directly south from there and you can see it next to the patch of trees, with a bush and beryl-nut in the front of it. That and the other pure node would make a really good fuel generator setup for tier 7 and 8.

I definitly love the way you play factory games, the Nilaus Signature !!!! One more time it is a real pleasure to follow this new serie. Thanks

I'd add a couple of free-standing conveyor poles to the branch depot, would make hooking straight lines from the bus easier rather than needing to fiddle a bit on the edge.

If you hit T while placing the blueprint, it will take away some of the hud obstruction and let you see your inputs and outputs better.
