Big Fire Breaks Out at Exxon Mobil Refinery in Texas

A large fire was burning at an ExxonMobil refinery plant in Texas, Wednesday, July 31.
The fire began around 11 a.m. at an ExxonMobil facility in Baytown, about 40 kilometers east of Houston.
The city of Baytown said the fire is in an area that contains polypropylene material and that ExxonMobil has requested some nearby residents to shelter in place as a precaution.
It was not immediately known if there were injuries.

Exxon profited over $20 billion last year. This is not going to hurt their bottom line. Besides, they'll just pass the loss to consumers by raising prices.

Doesn't look like there is very much in the way of fire water being sprayed on the fire from in house fire monitor points, were they working?

The scary thing about fossil gas, is that you only observe very little smoke, the nasty stuff isn't visible.
