Hello everyone, and Happy New Year! It's been 5 weeks since I last managed to make a video, but it feels like an absolute age. I hope that you're all doing well at the start of another strange year, and that over winter and the (hopeful) holidays you could find ways to look after yourself - truly - it's been and still is such a difficult time for so many.

Usually one might try and make cheerful music to help snap ourselves out of it. I didn't do that. I just went with my feeling of the moment, and out this came. More and more I try not to force things into one mood or another, and just "go with the flow". I'm also looking for energy to build more things, and to make more videos, and I think it's slowly coming back - watch this space :)

I've created a subtitle track to share with you some details on how I made the music.

My sincere thanks go most of all to my students/WRKSHPers at @WRKSHP who through their support of my work at the school allow me to make time to make videos like these.

Felt the emotional release here..music is a therapy for most of us right now, so nice work! It's hugely difficult just allowing space within tracks, I'm always too tempted to fill these quiet moments, but think I'm going to try and allow myself to accept the minimalism, allows for, shall we say 'higher' sonic elements to fill the space. As always, thanks for putting this track into the universe.
