This video gives you two of the biggest mistakes golfers make with their irons. So many golfers struggle to strike their irons consistently often striking behind hind the golf ball and failing to get a ball turf contact.

This video reveals how most golfers are trying to improve their strike in the wrong way and suggests a proven alternative that dramatically improves ball striking and distance.

ABOUT DANNY
-----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Huge thanks again Danny! I was one of those holding the club like my life depended on it and trying to use brute strength to hit the ball. I went onto the range today before playing and it took me only two or three swings to have a softer grip and it was like a whippy action hitting the ball. I hit a shot out of light rough 190 yards with a 5 iron that felt like an air shot! It couldn't believe how much difference it made. Already am confident that with a bit more practice over the winter I will be down from 15 into single figures! Top man!

The tension in the grip tip helps me a ton. I've definitely been holding too tight and losing clubhead speed. Thanks Danny.

I've been playing golf for over 40 years and this was probably the hardest thing to get my head around. Thanks to this video I think I finally have. Cheers Danny.

Danny is so good at seeing subtle mistakes that have consequential results and showing us how to fix them.

Hi Danny.

Great video once again. I have been so technical with positions and my focus on hitting at the ball that I have never been able to get past a 11 handicap. Your swing to a position instead of hitting at the ball is perfect for me and I already see vast improvement. I don’t even think about hitting at the ball...I just try to swing to the position you describe and the ball just rockets off the face..it awesome. I hope everyone out there forgets what they think they know about the golf swing and just try these drills which simplifies everything down to feeling like an actually swing and not a science lab experiment.

Cheers

Glad I found your channel, Danny. I've gotten pretty rusty with my irons shots and this lesson helps immensely. Awesome stuff!

Danny you’ve perfectly explained and demonstrated lag both behind the golf ball and after it. Tightness of grip and hence little or no lag has always been one of my areas I need to improve on. I will practice your perfectly demonstrated technique until I have cracked it. Thank you once again for explaining it so simply.

Best Youtube golfing instruction out there. I went to the range after this video. Added the tip that the down swing starts with the lower legs and keep your knees together. I was striping it. Ballflights 30% higher then normal and a really good distance.

Thanks for another great video, your last one on how it feels throwing a ball side arm has already helped me. Looking forward to applying this one.

A very nice lesson, thanks! I’ve been suffering of stiff wrists at impact. The reason is that I’ve had an out-to-in swing and hitting with stiff wrists has been the way to compensate the club head movement. It helped me to hit the target but with a severe loss of distance.

Great explanation Danny. I was trying to hold the lag and rotate the body as taught by another YouTube teacher with little success. Your technique makes more sense and helps close the face better.

Excellent lesson. I have been that guy trying to firmly hold the shaft lean and create lag. When I achieved passive wrists my swing improved immensely. Thank you Danny!

I never had someone explain it like Danny does. This is something I'm going to try. Will be back with the results later. So far, , , , thanks Danny.
