i got mine form a high end reptile store. the owner was breeding a bunch of stuff in there, he dose not breed his geckos but said he is vary picky about what breeder he gets them from. i got my little dude for 150. but he is much better looking then the ones at petsmart. i have looked at breeders websites and i think i got him for cheaper then normal. id assume he gets them for cheaper because its a store.

Thank you for posting this. I've got 5 crested geckos and have been trying to pin down exactly what morphs they are. I think I've got most of em figured out now except for my male. I know he looks like a black base and almost full pin stripe, but I'm not sure which category he'd fit into still 🤔

my baby red crested gecko turns brown when hes fired down but when he is fired up or down he is patternless

Your videos are so helpful! Are there any breeders who do not breed for color mutation, but thinks like size, body structure etc? And is this even possible?

What are your views on Polydactyl Crested gecko? My Yellow based quad stripe has a perfect fully formed extra toe on both back feet. I never noticed this when I bought her, and I bought her as a breeder. So now that I see her extra toes, should I Not breed her?

are those geckos considered overweight?? because they look pretty chonky and overweight geckos don't live as long, how much they are supposed to weigh to not be considered obese?

The first part sounds kind of hypocrite, no? Almost every breeder breeds their geckos for, yes quality and hobby, but also for money purposes. Its the same as for petstores, just the quality of morph is less important.
