I think you should ponder more specific questions than just sort of rambling.

Like what other phones are available at this price point that are still worth getting. What other 5.9 inch phones still exist besides this one that might still be usable. What features does this have that newer models got rid of, like edge assistant or unlimited storage saver.

No offense but you just sort of go on and say what year the phone came out, that it sort of took decent photos, that it's getting a little old.
... All of that stuff is pretty self-evident.

If you want a 5.9 in phone on Android, your only options are the last two Zen phones which are pretty expensive. Maybe it's the last three Zen phones. S10e, 4a, 3, 3a... And some extreme budget phones like the A10e.

So at that point, if you're committed to a cheap 5.9 in phone, I think it really comes down to Pixel 3, s10e and 4A. If you can't afford a Zen phone. The 4A has Android 13, but it doesn't have wireless charging, doesn't have a glass back, doesn't have squeeze for assistant.
