It's kind of sad how many stories of iconic Disney props include the words "then it was left to rot on the tram tour for years".

The Backlot may be gone, but through this channel the legend of the Lottery will live on

I'm continuously impressed with how you manage to come up with so much content.
Also, I will never get tired of you name-dropping Bette Middler in The Lottery. It's like an anti-joke and a running joke met in a head-on collision, but it ALWAYS makes me laugh!

Whoa! Is that "The Lottery" 's own Bette Midler?!

Mickey says Aloha to boy from Down Under just made me smile. That is just so wholesome.

I worked on many of those double decker buses at EPCOT. They were used for “Around the World with Mickey Mouse” and the holiday version of the show “From All of Us to All of You” which were character shows / meet and greets. I also did the Junkanoo show!

Why dont they have a Disney Museum in the parks? So much history is being tossed out like nothin jesus

With all the stories you hear about attractions being scaled back due to cost you would think Disney would auction off more of its old props and stuff instead of letting it rot away. Then they would free up storage space and get some cash.

I kept expecting the Limo story to end with "and then it snapped in two." That thing did not look structurally sound.

It's honestly really sad that Disney doesn't seem to care about their history very much. I know we technically have the Disney Archives but if they opened up a warehouse museum somewhere with old ride vehicles and animatronics instead of scrapping them they would make a lot of money.

Disney: Let's do the cheaper thing that will cost us more money in the long run while making us look cheap and lacking in creativity 😃

Interesting thing about the Viewliner is it wasn’t only a inspiration from the GM Aero Train, it actually used GM components such as doors and windshield from a mid 50’s Oldsmobile, and used a Chevy small block V8 to power it.

Mickeys Limousine was stored north of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World before being scrapped. When it was ordered the customizing company asked what it was to be used for and they were told primarily for display. After putting a lot of mileage on it Disney noticed that it had begun to sag in the middle. They contacted the customizer claiming that it was defective only to be told that they build primarily for display and not to be driven as much as Disney had. From then it was transported on the back of a lowboy trailer to keep its mileage down. You could also do a video on all of the ships that Disney has scraped at Walt Disney World and what happened to the original WDW Monorails.

Barbie is canonically stronger than Mickey Mouse, that's one for future historians to reckon with.

Mickey's Li-MOUSE-ine blew my 9 year old mind when I saw it in Guinness Book of Worlds Records and maybe another publication. It was one of the first things I can remember nerding out on.

I booed out loud when I found out Disneyland cancelled a ride vehicle themed restaurant
