You guys are pretty old school and have a strong believe on HTML5 and Javascript based web development as if it is a religion.

Why still use HTML5 and Javascript outside the browser when we already have better, more matured and battle tested alternatives like XAML, Unity, Glade Interface Designer, GTK+, wxWidgets, Qt, QtQuick/QML, Python, Kivy, Flash, Golang, Lua, Haskell?

From my experience with other GUI languages HTML5/Javascript based approach is not the best way to write Huge Enterprise sort of Graphics heavy apps.

Why don't you use XForms instead? It is also a W3C standard.
