FILM DESCRIPTION:
Jack McCall (Eddie Murphy) is a selfish literary agent whose fast-talking ways allow him to close any deal. His next target is New Age guru Dr. Sinja (Cliff Curtis), but the savvy doctor sees right through Jack. A magical tree appears in Jack's yard, and, according to Dr. Sinja, the tree and Jack are connected; every time Jack says a word, a leaf falls from the tree. When the last leaf drops, Jack will die. With just a thousand leaves left, Jack must learn to curb his speech or he's a goner.

My dad and I died in a car wreck a few years ago when I was still a tween. I wasn’t kind to him in our last days and lied all the time to get what I wanted. After the wreck and him being gone I’ve had such intense rage and anger some days that I can’t breathe. I recently was asked if I ever forgave myself or forgave my dad for some of our fights and realized I never did.

It can feel impossible to do but forgiving a ghost that you loved can bring you some peace. I just said the same 3 simple words and my anger melted away
