Byer Koi farm Grow and Show 2020 - All Koi photos

A quick closer look at my 2 Koi from the Byer Koi farm event from 2020.

Then at the video end are all the photo certificates of the Koi that were in the event.
I haven't put names to fish as some people may not want theirs published on here.

Looking good Andy, my chocolate chagoi started of at 23cm and last measured last month sometime at 38cm👌👍

I spotted mine ref 4 23cm I'm not sure how much its grown I'll bowl it up soon . it was shy to the food last season but its on it now so hopefully it'll do a bit by September its looking nice tbh

My kohaku (ref.55) is 34-35cm now. Doing well. Seems to finally have got brave enough to compete on the surface for food so hopefully its got some more growing to do yet.

Yours are looking fantastic Andy buts there is certainly some competition there I couldn't pick a favourite 😍

In Japan, GROW and SHOWs are not held over the winter because everyone competes for results at the same time as the period when breeders put their KOIs in mud ponds. Are these competitions for heating and feeding techniques over winter??

I think mine was 33 on the Kahaku but it could have been one of the others. That says he was 28cm but I'm sure I measured it at 27. I've got to measure mine so I'm not sure how much it's grown. I don't expect it to have grown as much as some but I still love the look of it.
