Today's question: "What do you think about the vision of walking trees in Mark 8:24?

I know that trees are symbol of men in typology. But why they are walking? What does that mean?"

Righteous men like trees means that their spirits are full, like a full tree. Otherwise they would be a sapling, a sprout, a seed, etc. I do agree this is about spiritual blindness. I also agree that it has something to do with a cross/crucifixion reference. Because Roman crosses were called "trees" by the early Aramaic and Hebrew peoples of the time, because they hadn't yet made up a word to describe it. Which is why in Deuteronomy it says " ...if a man has committed a crime punishable by death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, his body shall not remain all night on the tree, but you shall bury him the same day, for a hanged man is cursed by God." a tree back then could have meant an actual tree or a cross. Also why in other non-canon gospels like James, it has Jesus saying, "I have put myself under a curse in order to save you." Because crucifixion is sort of like a hanging in that it causes suffocation. But I bet these interpretations were discarded by Catholics because it didn't fit their version of the events.

I believe that Jesus opened his spiritual eyes, and he had a glimpse of the spiritual world. So what he was seeing, men like trees, meaning they all looked the same and, although they were walking, they did not do anything important, like a tree. So he was seeing, in reality, people who had no spiritual life, people who don't believe in God and in Jesus (that also explains why he wanted to take him away from that village).
Therefore, these men, who were like trees, in the spiritual realm, had to go through a transformation, that could only happen through the action of God, because like is said in Jer 5:14 "Because you speak this word, behold, I will make my words in your mouth fire, and this people wood" So in order for this people to turn, from trees, to servers of God, we (or even the man who got his vision restored) must burn them with the Word of God.

I think that’s spot on. It’s fascinating that that first stage works in two ways: first, trees are far more accurate than nothing but, second, they are far from the reality.
