1956 Eddie Cochran plays Twenty Flight Rock! Noticed the guitar solo has been restored by Heppest of the Hep in livin' HD! Was never happy with the "studio cut" in the movie , The Girl Can't Help It! Now, the Girl, Really Can't Help It! Made for all the Eddie Cochran fans world wide! FYI we also have easy on the eyes, blonde bombshell Jayne Mansfield sharing the screen! Dig it the most! #heppestofthehep #hep #hoth

It’s amazing to think this movie was made in 1956 and Eddie was 16 years old. Such a mature singer for his age

Eddie was a class act. He had it all: good looks, the best hairstyle, and musicianship. A massive influence on Hendrix, The Who, Rod Stewart, and Led Zep.

Who knows what he could have achieved if fate hadn't cruelly intervened, on that terrible April day in 1960.

Eddie had it all. Looks chops, an overlooked rock pioneer.

“Come Go With Me” as sung by John caught Paul’s attention.
“Twenty Flight Rock” played by Paul showed John how talented Paul was.
“Raunchy” got George to join them.
Kids!
One, the wit and the rebel.
Two, the talent and the fun.
Three, the note-perfect.

Buddy Holly and Eddie Cochran, both died so young and tragically....2 of the strongest influences on the Quarrymen, later named The Beatles, in honor of Buddy Holly and The crickets.... by their most famous fan, John Lennon

6th July, 1957: 63 years ago today, John Lennon met Paul McCartney. Paul impressed John by playing this song on his guitar and he knew all of the lyrics unlike John, so John decided to let Paul into his band and the rest is history!

He died at age 21. Imagine what could have been if he didn’t get in that car accident. Rock ‘n Roll would be completely different.

He was one of the best early rock and roll guitarist, very influential in England, George Harrison, Jeff Beck, many others also don't forget Brian Seltzer, good singer too!

This was the first song I ever learnt to play back in 1960. Years later I discovered it was the song that got Paul McCartney into what became The Beatles.
