Storms dump several inches of rain in Fallston area

Flash flooding damaged dozens of cars in the Fallston area Monday night, SkyTeam 11 reported. Chief Meteorologist Tom Tasselmyer said at 6 p.m. that storms that moved through Harford County dropped very heavy rain -- about 2 to 3 inches of rain per hour. SkyTeam 11 reported dozens of cars were damaged by flood waters. SkyTeam 11 reported at 6 p.m. that flood water was starting to recede on Belair Road between Reckord and Mountain roads, but parking lots remained flooded, and cars were damaged. Several roads in the area have been closed. The high waters brought everything to a halt as the Rocky Branch flowed onto Belair Road.
