So who is Spartan-85? I'll start in the beginning. My earliest memories of playing video games was going with my grandma and my uncle (who had down syndrome) to the grocery store. In the back, they had a small arcade where my uncle and I would play games while my grandma shopped. We had so much fun playing games like Double Dragon,, Final Fight, Streets of Rage, Mortal Kombat, Donkey Kong, Mario, Galaga and so many others!

I got my very first console ever in the early 90's, the Nintendo Entertainment System, or NES. I remember having to blow the dust out of the cartridges because I played them so much. My brother and I would play super mario brothers and dunk hunt for hours.

Fast forward through the ages, I have owned almost every console there is, the NES, Super NES, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One S and the Nintendo Switch. Gaming to me is a way to forget the world and to hang out with my friends. Some of my fondest memories were playing online in Halo 2, where we had clans, huge clan wars, and just had an amazing time.

I really got started watching youtube videos of creators playing video games while working midnights as a police officer. It kept me awake and passed the time between calls and reports. My first big inspirations that planted the idea of starting my own channel were, Markiplier, Lord Minion777, Unspeakable, Ninja and Glock9. I really enjoyed Markiplier's style and how he played a very wide variety of games. I enjoyed Lord Minions multiplayer series and comedy.

The two biggest inspirations that got me hooked into 7 Days to DIe and wanting to start my own channel playing 7 Days to DIe were Neebs Gaming and Glock9. The actual game, 7 Days to Die is what I decided I wanted to focus on because I felt it was a mix of two of my all time favorite games, Fallout and Minecraft. I literally one day googled games similar to Fallout and Minecraft and 7 Days to Die came up. I started buying equipment on Ebay and Amazon and the rest is history!!

Things that I try to stay true about are always stay humble, treat everyone with respect, know where you started and how hard you have worked to get here, set an example, help others when they need it, be a blessing to others, and when you don't know what to do or what will happen, Smile!

I would like to see the channel morph into a wide variety gaming channel eventually, but 7 Days to Die still holds my heart. I still love making tutorials, and especially 7 Days to Die tutorials The next big game on my radar that I am super excited about is probably Starfied.

7 Days to Die tutorial, 7 Days to die How to, Best base in 7 days to die, 7 days to die best base, how to unlock 7 days to die, 7 days to die how to unlock, 7 days to die tips and trick, 7 days to die tips

I haven't played for at least 15 years, but it used to be that if you leave the bottom block of the sugar cane, it will regrow.

Hello Spartan-85, How are you? You have to plant sugar cane by the water on un tilt soil.

Minecraft does have an audience. You can always place carpet on the corner of your fence. It allows you the ability to get out of animal pens without having to use the gate if animal escaping is a problem.

Another great episode my son loves watching with me.

I think sugar cane (just the plant you get from looting - not seeds) has to be placed on a block directly next to water.

I've only ever grown beetroot for trading with villagers. I'm not sure I even knew it had another use!

Dont play much MC these days but still watch a decent amount and what I've learned is that when attacking with a sword or axe you deal more damage when the bar fills up and then swing instead of spam attacks, and if you can time the swing in the downward motion of a jump it deals more again, but it does take tons of practice to perfect where it becomes second nature.

Hope this helps with any future zombie hordes, or just combat in general

Its also refreshing to watch a somewhat new survival player, keep up the great work and keep these episodes coming

I almost feel betrayed. After all the encouragement i gave in 7dtd on farming, subtle hints at a larger plot and only getting a 9x4 on a hillside, you jump in the mine box world and plow up acres! And there is no way minecraft farming is easier. You dont need water to farm in 7dtd. You cant jump on your dirt and mess it up. And your hoe NEVER breaks if you only use it for hoing.

Plant sugarcane on un-tilled dirt, grass, or sand that’s next to at least one water block. There are not seeds. Plant one sugarcane there.

I think beets are used for making dye. Also you can eat them. Some villagers, if they are farmers, will buy beets for gems.

Okay so I have some tips and tricks for ya.
1.tilled soil gets fertilized up to 8 blocks away from a water source, one block of water can fertilize almost a full 64 seeds, comes in handy when you want to make big farms.
2. Bread early on is an okay food source but is expensive. Your best bet would be to set up a trading house with villagers. Maxed level villagers trade golden carrots for emeralds and they are the best food source in the game. You can also sell crops to villagers for emeralds.
3. Definitely set up trading infrastructure. Villagers make getting high level equipment super easy
4. Getting a sugar cane farm and cow farm set up will give you access to books, with that you can get to the enchantment table even with iron tools the payoff is huge
5. If you play on the hardest difficulty you can convert villagers to zombies and back for huge discounts on trades.
6. A wood farm seems unnecessary but if you find spruce and plant a 2x2 square with saplings this makes huge trees that produces a ton of wood.

But keep up the great work. Love the vids!

For tons of sugarcane, I'll place rows of dirt blocks going into a body of water, then make a few stacks of HALF SLABS of wood or stone. Then place the half slabs on each side of the dirt blocks so i can harvest the sugarcane without any falling into the water.
It's important that the half slabs are placed in the top half of the block so that it is flat with the dirt blocks doesn't remove the block of water below it. Then plant sugarcane on the dirt.
Kinda like this:

W=water S=slab d=dirt block

Aka you should play stoneblock3 it's so much fun you have quest to do to beat the game
