This is one of those karmic coincidences in life. First time I was travelling in Europe (with my family), Paris was our second stop. We were staying right down the street from Montmarte, near Moulin Rouge, and we made our way up to see the painters.

I remember sitting at a random cafe near the center when I heard this faint guitar strum and a woman's voice. I passed it off as just some music playing nearby. Moments later, this beautiful woman walked past with a cameraman hovering around her as she played and sang down the street. It made me smile and want to live in Paris at some point in my life (yet to do so, but there's a lot of life left).

That image was stuck in my head ever since. It was the second most memorable moment of that trip for me (the first being vising Jim Morrison's grave in Pere Lachaise). Back home in India, we didn't have the amazing internet we have today so I had given up hope on ever finding who that woman was and what song she was singing. Just the image remained.

Until the YouTube algorithm suggested this song to me last week. I immediately recognised the girl and the place. That's me and my sister sitting at the cafe around 2:57. I now know the song and the artist, and I love both.

Yesterday I actually turned on this song while walking on the street in Paris. I've waited 10 years to be able to do it. Such a magical moment

Goal: to walk this same path in Paris, whilst listening to the same song in my headphones.

I always smile at 5:51 when the group walks by and the guy goes “ I bet that she’s an up and coming musician”

The sound of plates and silverware make this feel so real raw and authentic.

I've watched this video several times over the years. I always remember it, and I come back to it. Something about it always touches me. It's hard to describe why.

Uhm, so is no one going to comment how she's walking in those high wedges, singing, and playing the guitar like the angel she is? So inspired by her!

this is probably the music video I visit the most often over the years - so many of the sensory factors in this, primarily Lianne's undeniable talent -- I get such a major blast of serotonin!

I was on a vacation with my parents and I remember hearing her singing from a block, i chased the sound and I heard the line. We all make mistakes. This hit me hard, because i was 18 and was having a rough time with everything in my life because overthinking and didn’t know how to solve it. Now i have a kinda decent and fixed life, and sometimes i think this is what got me into the correct path. To me was kinda of a revelation, thanks for the video, even if i am 6 years late to it.
