Adding warm water would expand the lid, which would make it harder to open

Little tip :>
Dont fill it to the brim because it may freeze the mouth which would make it harder to grip to open.
Also water expands when it gets frozen so theres no need to actually fully fill it with water. Hope that helps :)

Fill the open cavity of the insert with water and pour it into the silicone. You will always have the exact measurements, and it won't overflow.

You should fill up only 2 1/2 levels from the bottom to not waste water. It’s on the manual.
