Please don't give up on Christina Lauren!! They DO have great books. I'd recommend "The Unhoneymooners" (my personal favourite). It's so cute and the chemistry is on point and the characters develop a REALLY good communication.

I listened to the audiobook of The Dreamers last month and it was so good! It was so atmospheric and I really felt like it could have been actually happening.

Another survival book like the Dreamers that you should add to your tbr is Dry by Neal Shusterman! I think you would like it based on how you were describing what you liked about the Dreamers 🙂

The Great Gatsby is one of those books that have been sitting on my shelves for like 6 years... Now that you mention it maybe I should just pick it up for once 😅

From what I’ve seen from other bloggers, you’re definitely not alone in your thoughts of Twice In A Blue Moon ! It may just be that their style isn’t for you, but if you were ever interested in trying another mainstream book from them, Josh &Hazel’s Guide To Not Dating is pretty fun romance from them (the ending was a bit weird but I think it’s probably some of their best work)

As a Scottish person I instantly hated Prince Charming bc Scotland doesn’t have a monarch lol there’s the royal family of Great Britain and that’s it and frankly monarchs in Scotland would go terribly based on how much we hate or parliament
