At work in a noisy retail setting I hear snatches of this song and assumed it was American country. Eventually I caught enough lyrics to trace it to a group not far from here in New Zealand and realise it has all the hallmarks of our wonderful Polynesian reggae which evokes summer beaches, road trips, hanging out with friends, warm breeze in your hair and Pohutukawa (New Zealand Christmas) trees. The artists are familiar names and have great musical chops. I love it all the more!
