Yes, I would do a clinical trial. When I was first diagnosed with MS in 2005, I was enrolled in the CombiRx Phase III trial. I was a subject for almost 7 years and feel that the treatment I received (both Copaxone and Avonex) was impactful on disease progression. Now. I am looking to find a study since I’m 16 years post-Dx without a relapse and off meds since 2018. Thank you for your informative videos!

4 years post diagnosis with PPMS I would consider clinical trials especially for remyelination drugs. Thanks again for the video Dr. Boster.

I'm so thankful for everyone that participates in clinical trials. I'm not sure if I would ever participate. At this stage my MS diagnosis is still so new and thankfully under control with tysabri

Nice video. I definitely have a lot of respect for people who participate in clinical trials. It's also a lot of work to enroll people and perform the evaluations and fill out the paperwork, so hats off to you as well.

I'm in a clinical trial for Ocrevus to study gait function. It's fun, really. The bi-weekly fall reports I have to do have been helpful to me, too.

in January 2012 I have started a "one-man-trial" with DMF, my GP was onboard and checked my blood every 4 months. Worldwide, the drug "BG-12" (now known as Tecfidera) was finishing its phase-3 trial at that time. Regulations here in Slovakia make trials extremely unappealing to doctors. I browse trough MS-drug trials about once a year to check if there is maybe something appealing opening in a country nearby.

Hello Dr Boster. Thank you for bringing this topic up. You're the most caring and informative doctor I've ever seen :) Being a MS patient myself, I'm also a Clinical Research Associate, working on clinical trials. It's a long journey and we always appreciate the volunteers and caring investigators. Hope our paths cross at some point in one of the Clinical Trials. With Heart.

I just finished an HCQ clinical trial at the University of Alberta MS clinic. Was 18 months but didn't affect my PPMS the way that they were hoping, or how I was hoping it would. Mine has progressed over this last year (I was diagnosed in Sept 2019) and it's at the point now that I can't do my physical job, and will have to hopefully be transferred to an administrative position with the same company.

Yes, I am American based in Sweden currently for a PhD. I would volunteer for a clinical trial. I believe I already am with the medication I use.

I don’t want to participate in a clinical trial at this time because of the highly effective med that I’m on. I have been in a vaccine trial in the past and I’m grateful to all participants that were in the trial for my MS drug. If things change with how I respond to my med, I’d defiantly participate in a study.

I usually get a call when they have a trial going. I always say if they have a trial I can participate in, I’m going to do it. So many questions that I want answers to can come from a trial

I would definitely do it. Anything to improve treatment for the MS community is a great thing. Thanks for another great video.

I would love to be in one but I am unsure that anyone would want me! With 97 brain lesions and a 6.8% lesion burden would that even be a candidate? I truly think those that have been participants are heroes to those that have followed with the disease! Thanks previous trial folks!

Helpful video!

I was readying to be involved with an MS trial about a year after I had been diagnosed.

The trial involved only MRI’s as far as I’d known but my family felt that I would be better off focusing on treatment at that time.

I’d be willing to attempt another trial in the future especially with the clarity your video has brought me.
