you don't really need to increase the tension of the cable like that.

The lock-out lever has tension adjustment for the cable, just like the shifter. All you need is to "unscrew" it 2-3 times and you will have the same result.

If I want this type of system, to be able to adjust my suspension to 3 settings, do I need a certain type of suspension? Is this something you can buy separately or only sold with Scott bikes?

I have same issue, plus the lever on the handle does not lock in to the last setting, and is hard to turn sorry for my english and thanks for the video

Why woul you do it this way? There are adjusment screw in the system, and the have more than enough adjustment

Be careful with this i have damaged the top cap pin with doing this :(
