Yes that's so true! The more water available together with right growing conditions for that species the more quickly plants will grow.
I have seen trees out in the Australian desert that were 500 or so years old but they don't have a huge canopy and are not very tall since they receive so little rain and are usually receiving plenty of very hot sunlight.

I consider myself a tree because... why so much similarities??
Based on this shorts, i concluded that most of the time, i am a tree in energy saving mode... not in growth mode, in adaptation to my environment... because most of those "factors" not properly being met. 😢
