The history and politics of Kosovo are complicated, and nowhere more so than in Mitrovica, a small city in the north of the country.

A bridge there has become not just a physical symbol of the clash between Albanian and Serbian communities, but also a metaphor for the division in the entire country. Abdulvehab Ejupi reports from Mitrovica.

This reminds me of my town of Derry where the bridge separates us nationalist communities from unionist communities, the police don’t like going into our areas and when they do they drive armoured cars.

The regime of Serbia will never invest for there Serbs they don’t care for them since Russia has the hand on them.
