It’s the Light! is where writing becomes a sport just like baseball, basketball, hockey, or any other sport. It’s the Light is just like “American Idol”, only substitute the singers with writers. Writers cooperating and competing could fill the space now leaving intellectuals out of this impactful rivalry genre. It’s the Light seeks to make unknown writers overnight stars. Like “Idol” styled shows, the competition starts with 10-15 contestants of any age. Viewers select finalists using phones, internet, and SMS text voting. The competition consists of 3-4 rounds with questions/prompts changing each round until one writer is crowned the day’s best!
