Somebody pronounce "char", others pronounce "char", but I prefer pronounce it "char"

I say "char" in my head. I don't think I've ever pronounced it aloud.

As far as I'm concerned, "char" is short for Charmander, so that's how I pronounce it.

Here in Brazil we say "shar". 😀

char is short for character
int is short for integer
short and long are short enough to not need to be shortened

I find this surprisingly interesting. In Czech we all pronounce it as Jar (with the spanish "J"). 😂
