The reason ambush is this fast is most likely because the door closes on seek after you finish the chase. Rush and ambush spawn at any of the doors that are closed behind the player. This means that the rooms behind that door disappeared in order to make the gameplay better. So therefore when the door slammed on seek, its a closed door, and since the player didnt get that far, ambush does not have much space to go back and forth, which makes ambush seem faster than usual.

So basically what happened is the game somehow change the speed of the entity and thought it was normal speed but it wasn’t so the game change his speed to probably 67 and broke the script of the ambush.
