I was there that night on August 4, easily my best live concert experience ever!

Roger the lyrical genius with the big bass tunes and Gilmore the best at killing it on guitar leads to this. People who were two years old at the time wishing we were there. It must’ve been electric.

I was there for one of the Earls Court shows in '80 and in '81, hitched a lift from South Wales the day before, watched Budgie in the Marquee and slept rough in Soho to make sure I got there.

I'm sure the Wall album, concert, the artwork and movie will be remembered the way that the great operatic works are by us. Changing the nature of the artform. The Wall was the first album I bought. I was 12 and I spent some of my Christmas money in 1979 on The Wall and Regatta Da Blanc at Fox's Records in Doncaster. I can't tell you what the album means to me. It still blows me away. It's heavy, unnerving, powerful, delicate and beautiful all at the same time. Still have both original vinyl albums. I was too young to see the Wall and anyway.... London felt like it was a world away at that age (obviously it isn't but going to the smoke was a huge event).

I was lucky enough to see Roger perform the Wall in December 2010 at the Tacoma Dome near Seattle. Bucket list item demolished. It was incredible.

If you can get to see Their Mortal Remains exhibition should it tour again- definitely worth it. Saw it in LA. So well curated and executed.

I hope the Earl's Court shows get some sort of release soon. It seems that they have good footage so why not??

LEGENDARY

How could it be that I'm the first one to leave a comment after this being posted a year ago especially since this is one of the better bootlegs of the wall performance out there
