this is really a great way to do it, works every time! If i have to cut thinner pieces, i actually dont always set up my mft to perfect square... wood works by itself, so if there is a minor gap between angle and fence, i usually dont care. Greetings from Germany

Stupid question, does the angle adjustment knob also need to be loose while doing this? The two 5mm bolts in the back just let the reticle move around, but the fence isn't going to budge if that knob is tight, right?

In my experience I see the rail clamp as the weak point in this system that should it be bumped or pressed against, turns the whole table out of square.
