Braga the Cimmerian is such an itnresting character. Seeing his ghost all around the exiles lands alongside his partner until his partner died was sad to read. The harlot left me empty. I was so excited and invested. Freya and Dina look cool in the Highlands, Janos Liam as well as Varpnir! And in single player there’s Avatar of Mitra who’s virtually indestructible but not the best fighter he gets his ass kicked by NPCs easily lol

Needs a buff to be on par with Liu Fei. I also wish they'd kept the Archer theme. Good Archer Thralls are hard to find compared to Fighters, and assuming that Conan will become a Companion at a later chapter, they're missing the opportunity to have a Fighter/Archer/Sorcerer trio.

This was a great idea. Fun quest and a pretty good reward.

Freya's bleed perk makes her one of the best or near best thrall for PvE. Because once she gets one bleed on a target her bleed ticks up to 20 without additional hits. So she can bleed down any mob in the game. This is likely a bug that will be fixed in the future. Also giving Freya a strength based weapon that every hit adds bleed in addition to the weapons other traits can be more than make up her lower damage modifiers.

I truly think if a remaster were to happen, adding siptah to base game is smart, however a portal to jump between lands in game would a massive upgrade

I wish they would have put these companion characters in some equivalent of the Cave of Kurak - out of sight. It really breaks immersion when you're running around with Freya only to see her also on the next ridge, kneeling by the fire. Also, any idea if we're getting more chapters to the AoH with more companions? It would be cool if its a series that culminates with Conan himself.

I went through both Freya's and Liu Fei's quest in single player, but upon completing them and saying I'd be happy for them to join my crew... they just disappeared into the ether.

I hate that she runs off before completing some of her dialogue. Especially at the Volcanic Forge and after the battle with Hagarth. I haven't done the last battle yet, so I don't know if she runs off after that one as well or not.

Has anyone made a more in-depth perk combo analysis on her (and Liu Fei)?

For example, for Freya's perk 1 - the "Resolute" perk seem to be better (especially when paired up with Potion of Rebirth rolls to get a 3x 10/15 +vit/str bonus), though if "Carnage" provides heal upon each hit - depending on the amount healed, it might actually be not bad.
Also - how's the bleeding compared to bleeding done by weapons (i.e. - Incarmine ones), does it pump up the same stack, or add a second, "special" one like gouging does? 🤔

Same with perk 3 - how much exactly (pts or % wise) does the "rejuvenation" provides? How many seconds more does the "stagger longer" provide?

Without that data, we're basically forced to guess - and seeing how buggy and long (especially Freya's...) those quests are, it's not as easy to just "yolo" through them and test it yourself... 😕

This one likes everything about the Freya quest (other than the bugs).
But the rewards...
Poop.
While this one personally uses Shortswords...
Freya herself is a Strength focus character.
Also her stats... Did they just leave her as is and give her unique perks? Liu Chad the Swollomancer blows her out of the water. Both as a follower and his reward.
At least his spoiler can be used on whatever gear you care, while Freya's Shortsword is only Shortswords.

Good quest, manky rewards.

It seems the campfire is still bugged? I literally build the one from inventory menu, unless game makers want bonfire since that is located in the hovel :D
Edit: Okay so instead of campfire build a Bonfire (the big white one) I had that on my temporary base and she started praying :D
