We have such little independent thought or critical thinking skills in our country, our English language skills are poor, and now with ai availble we will get left behind further due too lack of these skills, What you say is very clear, the brain just does what you instruct it to, looping thoughts create more chaos, I trained in RTT Rapid Transformation Therapy last year a new skill to add to my already great skills, this has been life changing for clients redirecting these poor thoughts you are talking about here.Like in one session total transformation from all sorts of beliefs they have created right from babyhood even often it is a protection mechanism to keep them small, hidden, protected real mind games the mind creates and we have no idea.A really fantastic chat thanks.

It seems like tall poppy syndrome got extended in NZ to shooting ideas down as soon as anyone has business aspirations. I have faced constant pressure to go on welfare or get a job. I have my own business now but often when I try to build a business with other people, particularly family members they either renege on the agreement, use the Iron Law of Institutions or Pierce the Corporate Veil constantly.

Feels like people think they're 'owed' something in NZ. Like they should have a great life without doing anything.
Now all the people coming here do not think that, they generally work hard, so it's only getting harder for the people stuck in that old mindset.
