Shine Armor Fortify Quick Coat | Product Review

A full product review of Shine Armor Fortify Quick Coat 3-in-1 detailer and paint sealer. Shine Armor is a new company on the car detailing map and asked me to test their product -- no strings attached. Fortify Quick Cloat claims to both clean, detail, and protect/seal your car's paint through nano technology and silica-based properties.

I test the product on my clean 1997 BMW M3 Sedan and then a dirty 2006 Porsche Cayman S to see how it stacks up against other detailers on the market. This is not intended to be a completely scientific study or review, but an initial test and observation opportunity. I will probably continue to use and test the product over 2019 and when more conclusions are drawn will bring those to you in subsequent videos.

Hey Chris, do you think you can make a tour video of your shop / garage. Looks super interesting and I’m planing on remodeling my garage in the spring and would love some pointers/ideas.

While doing the hood did you notice how much better the spray bottle sprays on the other one, I've used the one on the drivers side of the hood and it is AWESOME STUFF 100%!!

The light glare makes it impossible to see . You need to have even lighting on your treating surfaces. All I could see is your overhead lighting relections.

Do I need to wax and buff my car before applying Shine Armor? Will it make a difference if I don't?

Griots Garage BoS Detailer, Meguairs Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax, Technicians Choice Ceramic Spray Detailer all do what Shine Armor claims to do at a fraction of the cost per ounce. SA, in my opinion, is just another in a long line of social media marketed gimmick detailers.

“Slicon has silica and silica has silicon. I don’t understand.” HE JUST SAID HE DOESNT UNDERSTAND THE WORDS THAT JUST CAME OUT OF HIS MOUTH 🤦🏼‍♂️

And STOP SPRAYING WATER. Of course your not gonna see difference with spraying water. It has no pressure and it’s gonna stick either waxed or not. Get a water hose and actually have pressure hitting down and see if it falls off then with extra pressure rather than just spraying it and having water glide on it. Swear you gotta learn
