Like every American president before him, Donald Trump has sworn "to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States".

But his opponents say he's been doing almost the exact opposite since he came to power.

Their hope is that by making it clear (be it through legal challenge, protest or the ballot box) that President Trump is indifferent to the responsibilities of his office and routinely flouts the various amendments enshrined in the Bill of Rights, they can use the constitution against him and bring his term in the White House to an early close.

So what are their chances of success? With the various strands of the anti-Trump "resistance" beginning to consolidate, Bob Abeshouse has been finding out.

Currently it seems both sides do not know how to make any effecient program. Unfortunately the extreamest views being taken by the two partys are preventing any progress to be made.
I only am republican leaning because I know the dangers of having too high of debt and restrictive it is to growth. At least the Rupublicans want to spend less. If the debt gets called in the USA currency will plummet in value and this will only get worse as they generate more debt trying to use debt to pay off their debt at a lower credit rating. When they can no longer bare it they would have to print a lot of money to pay it off causing hyperinflation. Congress is too inefficient to make moves and all these people don't u understand the position the US is economically.

Im very disappointed at the US army. do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same.
