needs a 242 t-case that's what I put in mine and it's amazing... for now until I get the sye on it all I had to do was cut 1.1 inches off the rear output shaft. the 249 is a nasty pile of junk. unless you have a limited slip there's nothing short of a locker or spool you can add to the dif to make it spin both tires better. before you start adding those to those difs I would swap in some better ones that will save you from a lot of headaches in the long run.

6:22 - 🤔?? - In 4WD, you couldn't get up onto that?
And because you have it lifted so high, did you have to install a SYE?

I want to run a thought by you - perhaps a solution to climbing up onto that 'piece of metal' ... If you were to drive up to it in 4HI until your front wheel touches it and while keeping the button depressed on the E-Brake lever with your thumb, apply the E-Brake and slowly 'brake-torque' your trans until it starts to climb, while simultaneously releasing the E-Brake lever slightly... This may transfer enough torque to the FRONT axle allowing it to climb up, while keeping your left-rear from spinning. - - Does that makes sense?

Also - I noticed that you seem to like doing burnouts in this ZJ... I have a simple / very inexpensive DIY trick to allow you to 'light them up' on PAVEMENT - enough so you'll produce big billowing clouds of white smoke - with little strain on your trans / engine. If you're interested, let me know where I can send you a private message.

Thanks, once again, for sharing your content.
