Zugenu requiring more food means the player is more exposed as they have to go out onto the map more for the resources than the gold mine from before. You can see that kauP even went onto the boar that was dragged away from his barbican, so 1 knight there would've been very effective. A few more raids and better macro, like getting his own boar, and not overmining his gold, and he'd have that win as french

great game! Cosmos micro was perfekt early on. Then he just focused on gold rather then on food. He still had hunt and boar + two berries, which he used way to late. 2 mills, fast food upgrades and he would have had enough knights to win.

zhuge nu is strong but let's be honest, cosmos was massing archers into zhugenu, and was just fighting head to head with the two armies. he delayed going for ranged defense which effectively decreases zhugenu damage by 3, hoarded 1000 wood and gold before going for a very unprotected trade, and abandoned food gathering from the 11minute mark when units that counter zhugenu are food heavy. This game definitely seems more like a macro mistake from cosmos than zhugenu being completely broken.

edit: wait delaying the ranged defense upgrade is way worse than I thought, 2*3=6 damage per zhuge nu(without ranged armor upgrade) vs 1*3=3 damage per zhugenu(with) means that simply getting ranged armor would cut zhugenu's dps by 50%

I love the 144hz 4k HDR400 Gygabyte M32U. High FPS is so much better and different then 60. sharper, more immersive due to less motion blur, and I highly recommend it.

I think you were mixing up _"heaven_ or _high_ water" and "to _high heaven"._

"Heaven to high water" or "High heaven to hell" have probably never been said before but make perfect sense in the context of a situation going suddenly wrong. Good malaphor.

One thing that make me go 'uhm...' about Zhuge Nu is that they are just better archer in general.
Can kill unarmored better, can kill armored better, can kill archers better, even sieges or buildings is not an exception. Maybe bit worse in dealing with spears cause of high cost, but unless you're fighting 100% spears or something, there's no reason to pick archers over Zhuge nu.
Ofc it does have slight short range, but only thing effectively out range them is Javelin and Longbow. And it's still better fight them with Zhuge Nu instead of basic archers.
If they're going to be a better archers, they at least need to share weakness with archers. It's kind if weired that in almost every scenario when archers become useless, Zhuge Nu can do better.

imo give them less health so it's harder to keep them alive for massing the deathball and easier to pick off reinforcements. Make them the glass cannon of feudal age

Tbf cosmos didn't have a good macro, about 1k worth of gold+wood stacked and not enough units.
Even if you want to start trade you shud be spending your res on making them.
For me it comes down to this.
