After a recent trip to Australia I purchased a really nice wooden 20" boomerang. I really had fun with it, but I bought your Wicked Outdoor Booma today... as I'm sure it as fun and yet more durable than the Aboriginal painted artwork. Looking forward to having fun with it!

Just brought one and it works fine, you can twist the wings to trim the flight and get it to hover. I made a video .

Sorry for the delay in replying to, we have been very busy recently!

If there is no wind, that is perfect! You can then throw in any direction and the Outdoor Booma should return to you. You may need to give it a bit more layover though (meaning when you hold it in your between your thumb and finger, you may want to hold it more towards 10° rather than between 2° and 5° as we usually suggest). Hopefully that has helped you, but if not feel free to leave us another comment!

Hi there, I've just purchased two Sonic Booma's with the whistles. I took one over my local field but it was dead calm with No wind. I gave the arms a little twist down to keep the flight low but I could not get the Boomerang to fully return. I did try a little twist to try a shorten the flight. My question is, do you need some wind to get a full return flight? I know there is a knack to throwing these and I'm throwing it vertically on release. Regards Paul.

Hi,

Just as a note, that's nothing to do with ISO, it's to do with exposure.

Agreed, the Sky is too bright, however the only choice would be to use a filter or as you say show more of the sky, thus making the landscape really dark. We shot the video at 60p 1880x720 and the Boomerang is very easily visible even against the sky, however YouTube does not accept this and therefore lowers the quality/frame rate making it harder to see. If you view at 720p on a larger screen, you can see it better.

Just tried out mine, after around 10 throws and some minor adjustments (bending the arms, twisting the CCW to get that sweet uplift) it came back!!!! So much much fun, but man, my arm is BURNING!!!! CANT WAIT to get some more booma action tomorrow.

Ps. Could you make more.of the indoor booma, I live in Hungary and I cant seem to find it anywhere retailers say its discontinued

I just bought a blue one, I’m left handed and no option for left handed throwers. Can’t throw right handed too good. Would be good if there was a left handed version.

I've bought 3 of them, becouse my son is fascinated by boomerangs. I've lost 2, hang up in the trees.They don't work like advertise, trust me.

I bought mine from Hamleys and all you have to do is point it at a 45 degree angle and then it comes back to you. It's easy😄😄😄
