Loved his music. He was an American original. I've seen Tom and the Heartbreakers many times in concert.
I'm very sorry he's gone.
Cigarettes kill. They killed his heart. Cigs gave George Harrison throat cancer that spread and ultimately killed him. Tom started smoking when he was 17. At the time of his death, he had cut down to one pack a day. That's still a lot of cigarettes.
