A tragic accident involving a teenage volley player and a man who probably should have been behind bars has Missouri's Attorney General Andrew Bailey giving St. Louis Circuit Attorney an ultimatum, resign or get fired.

Bailey petitioned to remove Kim Gardner from her position, accusing her of neglecting her duties.

Tennessee volleyball player Janae Edmondson was in St. Louis participating in a volleyball tournament when she was hit by a car in an accident caused by 21-year-old Daniel Riley, who had dozens of bond violations.
Janae's legs had to be amputated.

Riley faces multiple charges related to the crash, including second-degree assault, two counts of fourth-degree assault, armed criminal action, and operating a vehicle without a license.

And now the accused murderer can be set free if he doesn't get tried by next week. Anyone around St. Louis will tell you that the mayor, who was her biggest supporter, wants her to resign. That's why she didn't want to talk about her.
