Why BCH and BSV Are So Fragile

In this video, I examine the relative network hash rates of BTC, BCH, and BSV, in order to determine which network provides the most robust security.

I conclude that the Bitcoin (BTC) network offers much higher security against empty block attacks and other 51% attacks than either BCH or BSV does.

This is because the same mining rigs (SHA-256 ASICs) can be used to mine BTC, BCH, or BSV. BTC miners can divert just a tiny percentage of their hash rate (0.50%) to permanently disrupt the other two networks.

This is one reason that you never want to own the second or third best crypto that is secured by the same proof of work algorithm. This leaves your chain open to attacks by machines that are mining the highest hash rate network.

It's no surprise that BSV has already been a victim of multiple 51% attacks.

BCH and BSV continue to be failed forks and failed projects that are gradually trending to zero against BTC.

Yes, I know that I said "Trader University, " but that is because this video was recorded a few weeks ago before I left on vacation and changed the channel name. Rest assured that you are here at Bitcoin University.

Everyone I've encountered has never touched bitcoin again after using it. $50-$100 miner fees isn't going to work for the average person. Same as eth gas feea. Not to mention how slow it is.

Bch has lower fees and is quicker than btc.
As peer to peer cash, as stated in the "white paper", btc has failed.

Understood. And I see how this is true. However, how will this change if the COPA vs. Dr. Craig S. Wright lawsuit concludes that Wright is Satoshi -=-OR-=- the Bitcoin Software is provien to be copyrighted and 'owned'. What happens if BTC is no longer allowed to use the code and/or ticker symbol?

How come Blackrock in the etf filing documents have left it open regarding which bitcoin they will choose. Something fishy going on. I just have a feeling we're in for a shock. Not all kings live forever.

Say what you will, when people open there eyes and see BSV is everything BTC wants to be its a no brainer. Its just a matter of time.
BSV are instant transactions they are 100th of a cent in fee its peer to peer its more advanced in every single way.

I’d like to learn the pros and cons of the different block sizes of the three. BTC has a 1MB block size. Would fees go down if blocks were bigger size? Would confirmations go faster? Why is BTC superior to BCH and BSV, other than hash rates?

Thanks for sharing! Just a quick off-topic question: I have USDT in my OKX wallet and I have the recovery phrase. What is the best way to transfer them to Binance?

Very informative, as usual. Thanks Matt! You’re the BTC boss! So glad I found your channel!

Excellent observation about BSV and BCH vulnerability! Using the same argument, what if a few major governments around the world decided to create "Govt BTC" (or "CBDC")? They pool their collective hashrate to equal 51% or more of BTC, and did the same attack on BTC?

Hey Matt, I heard earlier last week that the US government has 205k BTC. never heard you talk about that is it true? What are the implications of that if is or if it was true?

Attacking BSV now is like attacking BTC back in 2010 - got it!

Great video. 7:14 BSV taking legal action tells you all you need to know about what kind of coin it is.

BTC keeps changing the protocol. That’s definition of a securitymy friend. Commodities don’t change. Few understand this…

Hi Matt. Hope you had a nice Easter. It almost seems like the newset attack vector from anti btc financial gurus is now saying that if there is a bull run on btc, that there won't be enough liquidity. Is this a concern? Thank you

Thank for the video.
Didn't you say that 51 attack is not enabling double spend? In your other video about 51% attack to BTC

I take it these videos were created before you changed to "Bitcoin University?" If not, when are you going to update the intro? Not like it matters, just curious.

I read somewhere that Bitcoin the technology follows the S surve, but bitcoin the asset follows the J curve(to infinity). Could this be true?
