This is the best video for lighting I've ever watched. I love the guideline on the left side of the video and the examples. It helped me A LOT

This is a tremendous video. By demoing with the lights you are using represented, you really helped me decide what I need. Great job, and thank you!!

Thanks! Very interesting and I didn't know there could be a difference in lights for set-ups.

This is a great video, and now I'm leaning towards getting a key light and a key light air for my set up. Key light air will be good for portability and the larger key light will be great for a more fixed set up, especially combined with the air as a fill light. I think that'll be a good combination!

Thanks for this! I want to film objects on a desk as tutorials... I have a small room/space and would like to know more about this and lights to it. I guess the Elgato Key Light (1) might be sufficient?

I picked up the Ring Light first, but I don't use it with the camera in the middle, nor do I point it at myself. I use it like a Key Light at a 45 degree angle because it costs the same as the Key Light and has *almost* the same power (2500 vs 2800 lumens). I never need anywhere near the maximum power, so as far as I'm concerned the 300 lumen difference is not a deal breaker, but what I gain is flexibility if I decide to use it with a camera, and the convenience of tweaking the power with the manual buttons when I'm not near my Stream Deck XL.

One of the key reasons I decided against using it with the camera in the middle is the minimum height is way too high. I need to look UP the entire time, which isn't natural. Here's the catch-22. The Ring Light comes with a shorter pole, but the lowest position is actually too tall center yourself in the shot without looking up. If you get the weighted base to put it on the floor, it's too short. I hope you add a shorter pole to your accessory line.

ok so I just want to make sure, I’m building a gaming PC and will also be buying the Green Screen and was planning on getting the Key Light, do you think it’s better to get 2 Key Lights or 1 Key Light and 1 Ring Light? I was thinking that I’d have the Key Lights angled to the side rather than facing me directly.

Would it be an option to have RGB next to them as well as matter support? Because I can see a lot of potential for more "home" like streams once you could team those up with hue bulbs for instance (not talking about a multi action that sets your scene in hue and then set a keylight to a certain white" I am more talking about dancing together with music, or using them along for scarier jumpscares for creators). would also allow for a lot more flexibility in regards of content creation, like say, a red glow in the eyes for a halloween stream or video.

Would be nice if you could also buy the lights without the bases
and have a Multi mount XS since I still think that the min height is too high.

The key light air's base should be a wireless charging pad. That'd be phenomenal

What about two key light airs and a ring light will that also be a great setup for green screening

Can I add a solid arm on a Key light air pole? I'd like to use a single pole with the the light and add an arm for a mirrorless camera. Since my desk is more than 6cm thick, that might be a good combination. I'm concern that the base of the key light air could be too light with the addition on a camera. Any suggestion?

May I know if I am selling crystal in live, is key light or key light air best?
