One of the most overlooked diagram in the planning process. When I do these, the arrows and color coding has always drove me crazy. Back in the days I always made mine in MS paint then powerpoint... Dark times indeed

I don’t think I’ve heard this term in my schooling, they never specifically asked for it that I remember. But I know I did do some to help me organize the site. I took the room sizes and requirements and did circles in CAD with the correct areas, printed, cut them out, and moved them around on a site plan. I prefer tactile methods even more than hand drawing.
Yours is a cleaner way to show it, I just find when I use computers, all my thought goes into how I use the program instead of thinking about the building and relationships. Partially this is because I’m not knowledgeable with the program mechanics, but partially because computers seem to put a block between the designer and the initial designs.

Hey great video! This is probably a dumb question but when you did the circles which reflects the size, do you actually rescale it to fit the context? or it doesnt matter at this point and we can just do random circles but with different sizes?
