Connie has been busy picking a lot of wild blueberries this year. We just might have to give the blueberry grunt a try. Your video had me drooling.

Instant Buttermilk pancake mix prepared according to directions but thick, not liquid, put on top of berries (any kind) add a little brown or white sugar or honey to both. Cook til batter is done. Made a blueberry cobbler batch two days ago. At home top with heavy cream, whipped cream, or ice cream. Peace

I grew up in Washington state and we had wild huckleberries growing in our yard and in the forest behind our house. We made so many things with them every summer. But never thought to do dumplings. Thanks for the idea. We used to make that compute then put them on pancakes or waffles or crepes. Love this. One more way to use the wild berries to advantage. 😊❤️

Looks great, Mark. That is no doubt delicious. Enjoy. I think you know now to start with the Bisquick and then add water. Thanks for the lesson in etymology.

Looks amazing. A little vanilla ice cream to top it off. Could use one of the ice cream.balls to make it.

That sure looks good. I will have to try that one & I even have a small Bisquick pack. I also have a few small packs of Betty Crocker Blueberry muffin mix, that might be an interesting experiment to try on top.
