You can actually skip gaining the motion power alltogether, by utilizing the trampoline and bushes to jump over the first boulder you're supposed to interact with. Wonderful game so far.

I used the statue but also did not solve it the why they intended. For some reason, my default for this game I'd beds so I usually silve everything with them lol
